How the pathway works

Selection Day is the entry point, not the whole program. It is where our coaches see your athlete play and select squads for the year-long academy.

  1. Selection Day · $30

    One session at your local venue in November. Skills, game play and assessment by Inspire coaching staff.

  2. Year-long academy

    Selected athletes join the 2027 Emerging Talent Academy or Goal Shooters Academy for a full season of structured development.

  3. Ongoing development

    Continued pathway opportunities, representative preparation and access to Inspire programs beyond the academy year.

Questions parents ask

A full coached session at your local venue — warm-up, skill work, game play and assessment by Inspire coaching staff — plus written notification of the selection outcome. The $30 covers the Selection Day only; 2027 academy fees are separate and confirmed with selected families. (Inclusions to be confirmed by client.)

The academy runs across the 2027 season with regular sessions at your selected location, plus a small number of whole-of-program days. Exact session frequency and dates to be confirmed by client.

The academy is designed to sit alongside club and association commitments, not replace them. Sessions are scheduled outside typical club training and fixture windows wherever possible.

Every family is notified of the outcome by email. Selected athletes receive their academy offer, fees and season calendar; athletes not selected receive coach feedback and options for other Inspire programs.

All athletes aged 11–14 in 2027 — boys and girls — registered in one of two age groups: 11 & 12 years, or 13 & 14 years. Register for the age group your athlete will be in for the 2027 season.

Netball training gear and court shoes, a labelled water bottle, and any strapping or medical items they normally use. Balls and bibs are provided.
